As I wrote before I am winding down but I still enjoy a day out in rubber when the sunshine calls. Here I am a few months ago in a bar:

Here I am in clubbing gear trying on a new hood at a helpful supplier:

My big heavy bondage belt is really severe self-discipline and the hood felt superb. I had alas to take it off to go out in public.

I had arrived in my open-faced hood and in my big latex mack as in the first picture. I had the belt on underneath of course. It was a hot sunny day and it was all I could do to walk a few yards in the sun but I stayed in my gear all day and evening. I count it as one of my best and horniest training days ever.

I did not though attract much comment - the yobs can usually be counted upon for a bit of back chat and a surprising number of girls. Another day two older girls, one with a baby, were very interested and started talking.

Quite often I get asked to pose for photos. In my open-faced hood and dark shades I am not recogniseable, not that it matters much to me, and I am alway happy to pose with gauntlets on hips or on my crotch. My thin gloves under my gauntlets are securely anchored between the sleeve of my heavy jacket and my catsuit. That does not have attached gloves - too easily damaged.

Rubberpal.com is also good for on-line acquaintances. Women there though are much sought after and I have little to offer except for the few who share my unusual tastes.

It is a long time since I have been to a club but I must make an effort to have an evening in total enclosure and perhaps receiving some discipline - bondage or a little caning.

It is amazing how fetish clubs have sprung up and how main-stream people know all about the existence of the scene which is overwhelmingly latex. Performers appear in latex gear - we have all read about Lady GaGa.

I shall try to post more often providing I have something interesting to say.

Blackie
aka traineelatex.

Hot weather rubber irresistible!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_DhZWA3GXxho/SDr75LF4qYI/AAAAAAAAAAU/RYIF4GfZNII/s320/Hot+sun.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5204749279028619650" />
I have been busy in my vanilla life and had periods in which I felt I was past the rubber scene altogether. The watmer weather has though brought me back and I have been around again fully rubbered as I have described a number of times. The picture shows me in my usual gear on a recent hot afternoon.

One hot day I went shopping and after some time went back to the supermarket where I had parked. I really felt that it would be all I could do to buy enough to get out of the car park. At the check-out I said to one of the girls who knows me that it was too much even for me and that I was going home. She said, "Don't give up. Get a cold drink and you will be able to keep going." Good advice. I did that and after was able to go up and down the high street continuing really taking it.

When I got home I did sit in the shade. I had to take off my boots, tricky wearing even thin gloves - mine are anchored under the sleeves of my tight heavy jacke which is part of my secnod layer under my big mack. I could then move my socks and suit feet back in position. When the suit feet which do not fit well fill with sweat they gradually work back to bind against my heels when I have walked say half a mile. I got of course properly geared up again

Later I went to the pub but did not manage to walk as usual but drove. They take me quite as routine - rather dull really.

A good day and I appreciated the encouragement. I get some occasionally. I said to a nice Polish girlin a cafe that I looked weird but was harmless and she smiled an said "you look very nice". I must go back- perhaos there is talent there.

I have had a few of these rtubber days but have not managed in the evening to get into my sleep sack still rubbered. Clearly more traing needed.

Blackie.

Winding down

I am beginning to feel that I am past it all. Increasingly I have long vanilla spells and times when getting into my elaborate rubber gear is just not worth whoile. It is not revulsion and dumping everything which some people report, but rather winding down. On the other hand from time to time I still feel the need for rubber.

Perhaps I am depressed but I fear just getting on. So my posts will I think be fewer and have less to report. In some ways I am glad. i have a very busy and full vanilla life and although i am known locally as the man in black rubber I feel with people I know well just a little awkward. Then when out and about there is always the danger of meeting someone nasty and suffering physical violence. I hasve never met this but then have beehnvery careful about where i go in rubber in the evenings. Hot weather always has the danger of overdoing it.

So that is my update. Let's see how it goes.

Blackie.

Update

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_DhZWA3GXxho/RpONimad6nI/AAAAAAAAAAM/VhC0YKFhLLE/s320/Summerpub.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5085564029798050418" />
Juat to let you know again that I am still enjoying hot rubber when the sun does shine. I have not done anythin g very exciting lately, but i am not spending long on this update since I have to polish up my big latex mack and boots, then spend an hour getting fully rubberised. I am due to meet a rubbrist pal who should bewell rubberised to, shall we say, exchnge views.

Here is recent pic though:

Blackie
aka traineelatex

Humdrum

This is just to reassure my readers, if indeed there are any, that I am still around.

i am finding though that my vanilla periods are lengthening. I suppose I am getting past it - I won't go into numbers. I am not though into actual burnout. Some people report complete revulsion and disposing of all their gear. They often regret it later and start expensvely rebuilding their rubber wardrobe. i have done that myself twice in the past, The first time was when I decided I was endangering my marriage by my furtive rubbering and the second was some time afterI was widowed and followed a gay sex experience. Although that had meant little physical contact I found it was not just for me. Since then I have found that when in rubber I do not mind the odd grope by a stranger - the physical aspect is unimportant against the emotional.

Like so many male rubberists, I live in hopes of meeting a rubber enjoying woman. I have met some who are tolerant and I find quite a few who will hug me when I am in rubber but they all are spoken for already. One unattached woman who seemed sympathetic and to whom in consequence I appeared wearing rubber and to whom I spoke freely I later found to have been quite disturbed. My long vanilla friendship has been upset.

I do know one girl who is not as young as she was, was never good-looking, and whose unsatisfactory relationship broke up several years ago. I am tempted to tell her how to get a man who will not worry about her looks and be considerate, probably economically stable, and intelligent - I mean the average rubberist. All she needs to do is to wear a shiny black rubber mack.

However I shall say nothing. Like many women she would I am pretty sure find the physical feeling disagreeable, feel that she was making herself socially doubtful, and that she wanted to be loved for herself and not for her rubber. Women in general, such is my own observation, both envy and despise other women who use their powers of sexual attraction to get what they want.

I return though to my own current situation. I do have fully rubberised expeditions, but more often just wear a mack, boots, gloves and SBR cap with a big wide belt and strapped collare. Under I have ordinary black chinos and a black long sleeved teeshirt. Uninspiring but keeps up the image.

I also feel I am definitely unwise to go out in the evening apart from the local pub.

Despite these negative feelings, the fine weather makes me want to gear up completely in multi-layer rubber with my open-faced hood and dark shades to get around and show off. Warm weather is a definite plus. Not only do I have a challenge to endure discomfort and heat for a long time, up to 36 hours, but I attract more interest. I sleep in such sessions in my rubber, less mack and boots and in my big sleep sack with full-face hood and spells in gasmask.

I need a pressure air system for the gasmask hose to avoid apnoea - waking up abruptly gasping for breath because shallow breathing has not cleared the mask. Then I could sweat happily all night 100% double enclosed.

Last year in the very hot weather I did feel though I was in danger of overdoing things. My ideal is warm and sunny enough for endurable and safe discomfort for a long period. I read a splendid account from a couple who went to the rubber Kink week in the Caribbean and trained in endurance sunbathing in bondage in the midday sun in total encllosure. They went close to the danger limit, reporting symptons of heat exhaustion - headaches and dizziness after.

There does seem though a definite climatisation effect. The daily latex wearers who blog can undoubtedly take more continuously than anyone unpractised though their motivation must be very strong. Alas, both my own spirit and my flesh are getting weak.

One of my fantasises is to appear as a living statue such as one sees in tourist places. Instead of silver or stone paint on body and clothes I should be 100% black rubbered in two tight catsuits etc with full-face hood and dark goggles. It must have been done of course. I must keep an eye open in seaside towns.

So, as I said in the title, a humdrum update. Having camera trouble too, so no pics. Typing errors too I fear.

Blackie.

Back in the groove.

Here I am back getting into the rubber groove again. I have been off to Oz for two months, completely vanilla. The idea of travelling rubbered up was of course attractive but impracticable. I told earlier about travelling by air to Germany fully rubbered except for double gloves and hood. It was a really hot day too. it was as much as I could do to struggle along with a heavy bag and a backpack. At Stanstead I had to take off my mack and stasnd there inmy heavy jacket and trousers. Noone took any notice. Isaid to the Security man, "I look weird but I am harmless." He replied, "Going to a fancy dress party?" But I wasn't but my friends thought my gear looked too Nazi for comfort to wear around. It is interesting how a long black garment and a peak cap speak Nazi. TV keeps the memories going. The Germans do seem keen rubberists though.

On the way back German Security did not like me and I was searched thoroughly. I had to take off my boots showing my latex socks over the bottom of my latex trousers. Cabin crew were no problem. Girls in general find me interesting if not attractive. I do though get hugged a lot.

So now I am looking at rubber on the Internet and getting rewady to get into rubber. Tomorrow evening I shall get fully rubbered with hood and dark shades to go to the pub where they know me and se lots of chums. I am as I have explained before a local eccentric and thought harmless.

The great thing about wearing rubber gear in public is to do ordinary things in ordinary places. Being furtive and hanging about arouses suspicion about any man alone, let alone a rubberist.

I have discovered Rubberpal.com where memeber put up some very good pictures. Rubberist.net is more serious and I think very helpful to rubberists who are unsure of theur fetish life or the gear they can get and look after.

So that is just to explain my silence. Of course the warm weather will be better for rubber - people are agreeably curious whentney see me geared up in summer. Teenagers are fascinated by me, but of course I speak to them but move on. Children take no notice in general, though I keep away from families. One small boy in a pub once came upto me and asked if I was Batman. I said I was Darth Vadar on a day off. When you think about what appears on TV my appearance is nothing special to them, though their parents may feel differently.

I am wondering about going to Plymouth for the Westward Bound Valentines Ball, but do not know a place to stay where my rubber during the day would be acceptable. Any suggestions welcome to traineelatex@rubberist.org.

So watch this space.

Blackie.

The Day After.

After the enthusiastic and exhausting session I described, I was shagged. Not only that but I went right off rubber for a week until I recovered enough to get geared up to walk down to the pub. That restored the faith of the usual people there that i was myself again.

I find now I get vanilla and rubberist spells alternating - I suppose because I am older. I also have many other interests. Had I when young been fortunate enough to have the freedom I have now I think I should have managed to wear rubber most of the time. I supose I should have got really used to it.

Even now I find when I have climbed into all my multi-layer gear that I feel quite relaxed despite the awkwardness and inconvenience. It is the same about being out and about in rubber. When I started going out in full gear as I have described - SBR mack over catsuits, thin and then thich gloved, boots, visible heavy latex trousers, broad doube buckled belt, open-faced hood with shades, collar strapped right up with latex buckled strap- it was an effort of will to get of of my car and walk in public. It was even more of an effort to go into a pub and hadle my money still wearing my thin gloves - the sleeves of the gloves are sandwiched between my suits so I cannot get the gloves off without the top suit.

Now it is quite routine and I find that people react accordingly. As I have said before, if you do everyday things, people accept you. A rubberist carrying shopping is not a threat. Hanging about is or may be. Some people are curious about the rubberist, but I have no objection to that at all.

Thanks to Overtrousers for his comment. An occasional comment cheers me up. Of course if I do not write a new post very often I can't expect people to keep looking.

I have posted another picture just so that you feel you have not wasted your time altogether.

Blackie.

A night in the sleeoing bag.

I am still partially rubbered - I just could not bring myself to strip off - after a night in my big rubber sleeping bag. I had been out in the evening at the local and had a dull time, so came home, stripped off my mack and boots, got out the bag and put it on the bed on a big rubber sheet. I then put on my full face hood with goggles.

Getting into the bag is quite tricky. There is just a little talc to help it slide. I stand at the side of the bed, step in through the zipped opening near the top, sit on the bed and pull the bag up until my feet touch the bottom. I then stand up and pull the bag round my shoulders. This is fairly tricky and may need several goes, but I get it over my head. I then sit on the bed, swing my legs up and lie down. Then switch off the light. Finally I close the zip around my neck.

I had set the timer for an hour and switched on the heater - I reckon on 25C or 80F as a working temperature. Challengingly hot and enjoyable, but not dangerous. My temperature which I took during the night did not go over 99.

I lay there fantasising and sweating gently. When the ringer sounded I sat up and removed the hood, substituting my gasmask with long tube. I then got competely inside the bag leaving the end of the tube outside, and closed the zip - there are four sliders, two accessible from outside, two from inside - round the tube. I was then completely enclosed.

The gasmask is the hooded kind but rather small. It also has an annoying habit of making a raspberry noise when the breath goes out. I was then set for the next hour.

When the ringer went again I was enduring hapily and went on for about half an hour more. But I had to get up and pee - that means unzipping all the layers and getting out the sheath with the tube at the end.

Then it was back for an hour in the hood, and so on until five. I slept I suppose intermittently though as always with a sleepless night one does not realise it. At five I reflected I had work to do today, so stripped. At least, stripped most of the way, but could not bring myself to take off my basic hooded suit, which I am still wearing. I have added my mack too.

So then at fivish I had several cups of sweet tea and lay down not in the bag and slept soundly for nearly two hours. Now I feel tired but good. I shall have to strip off and have a shower soon though and get down to my various jobs - I do not go out to work. It will be tempting to get geared up again, but I shall resist the idea.

So a really masochistic night, enjoying the challenge of rubber enclosure and heat. Like so many rubberists I wish I had a rubber female partner but do not do too badly as I have recounted.

When I was out in the evening I was enjoying not only the heavy rubber gear but showing off - open-faced hood and dark shades, as near to a full-face hood as I dare in public.

So that is rubberist Blackie, fetishist, masochist, exhibitionist! Not a severe endurance test by the standards of other rubberists, and no discipline, but kinkily enjoyable and stimulating.

I hope my readers enjoy this. A comment or two to show I am not wasting my time altogther would be appreciated.

Blackie.

Still around.

Since I last updated this blog I have various periods of intense rubber acrivity with definitely vanilla intervals. My general feeling is that I am generally no longer as keen as I was - after all I am old enough to know better.

There have been some really good sessions though. Here is a picture of me on one of the hottest days of the year at noon. Look how short the shadow is. They seldom come shorter in this country, nor days hotter!

The contrast beween the black mack and the bright background seems to uset the camera colour balance, so the pictures came out pink. I adjusted the brightness and the colour is now nearly right.

I had walked a couple of hundred yards from the car in the sun and sat in the shade with a cold drink before moving out to pose for an obliging if vanilla friend. By the time I had walked a couple of hundred yards back to the car I decided I was pushing it too far. So it was home with no aircon in the vehicle. My mouth temperature was 101 which is quite high enough -core body temperature is always higher, so i gave up. But it was an achievement.

Nobody took any notice. Of course people did not know I had two heavy latex layers under my mack. First pants, then a catsuit with hood, then heavy trousers and jacket, belted, with the sleeves of thin gloves sealed between the layers. Then socks, boots, open-faced hood, mack, bondage collar, wide double-buckled latex belt, and heavy gauntlets. I reckon something over 30lbs weight of rubber. Sweating profusely though always gets out through zips and finally works into the boots which are a nuisance to dry.

Less strenuous sessions walking around and down to the pub, half a mile and up the hill home are good endurance self-discipline training too.

I have not got very far with sleeping in my big rubber bag. I have tried sessions wearing full gear except mack and boots with gasmask and long tube. The opening to the bag is fully zipped with just the tube protruding for air. It needs a pumped air feed to prevent accumulation of de-oxygenated air and consequent apnea - suddenly having to gasp and take a deep breath. Even with a pump I think it would be dangerous for any long period. I aim for a working temperature of 25C. for shorter training sessions. I am not into breath restriction.

But I cannot keep up training day in and day out like Sealed - see sealedand suffocating.blogspot.com . I have lots of vanilla interests and find rigorous training leaves me shagged.

I am still enjoying my sessions though and have recently acquired a solid latex mack from Sealwear. It is beautifully heavy and has a high collar with a storm flap that comes right over the chin. I have an open-face hood which split down the front fold seam from chin to neck, and I shall try try that wrapped over the mack collar and held in place by the bondage collar. The trouble with multiple hoods is the effect on hearing. I need an external microphone which will communicate with a bluetooth earpiece or similar.

Your comments are as always very welcome, if only a note to see you have seen the blog.

Rubberist Blackie,

Update

It is along time since I last posted on this Blog. I am still around however, and wearing my rubber out and about including some quite challenging hot weather. I find I now also have vanilla periods when I seem to lose interest in rubber because of lots of other activiities. Then I get back into rubber and feel a wave of enthusiasm.

I am now quite well known locally as I suppose an eccentric and have found people , neighbours, friends and relations amazingly accepting as I have said before. Of course there are still people with whom, places in which and activities for which rubber remains inappropriate.

Coming out in this way has made quite a difference - rubber has fallen into place as part of my life. it is not quite like golf, which I do not play anyay, but nowadays has things in common. perhaps I am just getting older.

A very dull posting, but there it is. When I have an interesting session I will report it.

Blackie.

A rigorous training session.

I must tell you about last night - a super session.

I had read the recent posts on sleeping in rubber on the IAR forum and decided to have another go myself last night. I had been wearing my usual gear out during the whole day - suit, jacket trousers, open faced hood etc. which I have described before, so last night just took off my mack and boots whicj would have been too cumbersome and added full-face hood with mouth zip.

I turned up the heating to 25C (77F), put a latex sheet on the bed and and with aid of some talcum climbed into my big heavy rubber rubber sleeping sack. I had my head inside but the zip wide open except when I sht it up compleely for rebreathing training. I shut the mouth zip then too. I lasted abou ten minutes each time - I was really sweating. With a few breaks to go to the bathroom which meant opening up three zips to get to my sheathed pants with tube. I endured all night. I slept little - my hood obstructed breathing a little so I woke up every few minutes to take deep breaths.

It was a very good night - really severe endurance training, but I am tired this morning. All the same I am back in my boots and soon will into my SBR mack etc to go out. I reckon that by tonight both I and my gear will need a wash.

The trouble is that I cannot manage rigorous training like that too frequently, enjoyable as it is. I must try less heat and perhaps a different hood to sleep better.

Being a rubberist means to me being tough but I really enjoy it all.

Rubber as routine

Nothing special to report. Just rendom rubber msngs.

My rubber gear remain routine for going out and often in the house as well. I now go around locally happily in my SBR mack, with trousers showing above polishedboots, open-face hood and big gloves. I have a wide double buckled latex belt on my mack, and a latex strap collar to hold the collar well up. It all attracts little attention in the street and shops Under my mack I have usually a suit, jacket, thin trousers and thick trousers, sometimes two suits. I had to work up to it. Going into a shop or pub mean I had to take a deep beath. Now I can stand up and look people n the face through my dark glasses. This means I seem more normal and is worth remembering for those starting wearing rubber in public.

When the weather gets warm and sunny I shall get more curiosity especially from the young. Do the older not see me, or just pretend not to? AsI have said before I enjoy the challenge of warmer weather. I will not overdo it - in the past I have endured and enjoyed a really challenging day going around in the heat, but have been left shagged out for several days. I would rather be able to train more gently every day.

Feeling hot, tight rubber round me as now while I write is uncomfortable, but although routine remains a pleasure. I suppose can enjoy all day conditions which an untrained person would find impossible after a few minutes. Or is it just that they lack motivation? What is it that makes me want to endure it all and test my limits?

One area I have not really tackled is sleeping in rubber. I have a big sleep sack, but I don't slide into it easily. Whether I am rubbered or not it is hard to get into and move about in. I can zip it up right over my head, or with a small gap for breathing, but that is dangerous for sleeping, so I need my head out. I hope to get ithe sack chlorinated so that I could then get in and out and move around inside easily. The trouble is that it is too stimulating to let me sleep, like drinking strong coffee.

36 hours in rubber continuously with front zips for relief and plenty to drink to avoid dehydrations, always a danger, leaves me and the rubber needing a wash. 23/24 hours for regular wear is acheved by some but I think with lighter weight gear, although rubber total enclosure is total enclosure, one layer or many.

I am a bit discouraged by the absence of comments on my recent blogs. Unless you comment I feel I am talking to the empty air. I wonder how many readers I have? How many people fnd my bog through a blog search engine? What do vanilla readers think of me? Am I just a self-centred bore?

Blackie.

Just to show I am still going around in my rubber, varying the amount according to the occasion. I have been wearing the open-faced hood around rather more often. As standard I now wear my broad double-buckled latex belt over my SBR mack. As always I have it buttoned right up, and I now have wear a latex collar with big buckle to keep up the mack collar right up. I have gone from the rather light plastic gloves to heavier black rubber short gauntlets, sometimes with full-length gauntlets.

All this with no comment, just the occasional crack from yobs or giggles from girls. I have not worn the jacket and trousers without the mack though. I think the shades finish the outfitmaking it just a little more out of the ordinary.

I hope you like the picture in the bar. It shows up my hood, gauntlets and you can see my wide belt. I was talking in this bar about my gear and the girl behind the bar was glad to photograph me, and then to take one with her own camera.

Life in rubber is fun, but I need some warm weather. The gear is apt to be chilly, as I said to the checkout woman in the supermarket, and I like warm weather. "You'll sweat in that lot!" she said. "That doesn't worry me - I like it that way" I replied.

And I do. Besides which I look ordinary in the winter - on a warm sunny day I can reckon to turn more heads.

Rubberist Blackie.

Back in training.

I have had a vanilla few days, socializing, but have been out in my rubber today. The weather is damp and gloomy, so my gear annoyingly looks very ordinary - I need a sunny warm day to sweat and look out of the ordinary.

However I put the brands round my sheath very tightly and I am now feeling gratifying and stimulating discomfort, which of course makes the tension greater. I shall get on the rowing trainer in a minute and se what I can do, without a gasmask though.

No comments on my last two blogs - am I becoming just boring? I will have to undergo some really tough training, so that I have something exciting to report.

Taking it - and enjoying it!

Blackie.

The next morning - and back in rubber.

In my last post, written as you will have seen in great rubber enthusiasm, I said I would put on my Russian gasmask with stretch hood and see how long I could last lying on a latex sheet. I lay there in the dark, gripped all over by rubber, hot and sweating, reflecting on the joys of being a rubberist and on the rubber story I had just read in the new IAR postings.

But it didn't last long. I had to pee. Peeing in suits is all right at the time, but unexpected drips outside occur, and the gear is hard to clean properly. So I struggled out of my gear, and fell naked into bed.

This morning though, when I have chores to do, and shopping to get, I felt rubbery again, and put on my light gear - sheathed pants, a thin shirt with zip front and laced neck, and medium trousers with socks over the ankles. Then came my heavy trousers and heavy jacket with my wide sdouble-buckled stetch belt on tightly, which is what I have on now.

When I go out I will put on my mack, tightly belted and with a neck strap, and my boots, SBR cap and short heavy gloves. It is a mild morning and I shall be nice and warm. Nobody will though I fear take any notice of me - they have seen me before, but perhaps being a Saturday I shall get get some ribald comments from yobs. I give as good as I get with a laugh, and have had no problems with them and indeed enjoy it. With any luck the girls will look and laugh, and if they are in a group question me. I am careful about young people though and do not encourage more than a brief conversation.

So you see I am enjoying my rubber life and steadily learning to take more rubber discomfort and heat. I am also nowquite used to going around in public geared up. As I have said before, if your behaviour is ordinary, then the rest of you is acceptable even if you look weird.

Blackie.

Taking it and enjoying it.

I am just back from the pub. I feel really good - my gear is hot, tight and heavy. I am still fully geared and macked, really turned on.

I said I must get a wetsuit so I duly bought one on eBay. It arrived this morning. Not all black, but full length with a front opening. So this evening I geared up - pants with sheath secured by bands, medium heay hooded suit with feet but no gloves. A stretch hood to seal it.

Then I got into the wetsuit. It was small, and I had struggle to get into it and the heavy zip fastened. It was certainly already hot and very tight.

My heavy trousers were next, belted and with bands at the ankle so that I could put on my boots. My long thin gloves followed. Then my heavy jacket, belted.

I began ro wonder if I could take the heat and restriction, but was beginning to feel good. I climbed into my big SBR mack, buttoning it right up. My big two buckled stretch belt went over that, and a strap ad buckle held the collar up tightly in place.

By then I was really taking it. I added my heavy long gloves, my dark shades over my glasses and I was ready to walk the half mile to tjhe pub. It was amild evening, so I made the walk and into the pub where I was greeted as usual and appreciated a pint.

The bar was of course hot, but by then I was really keen , and enjoying the tight rubber, sweating happily as I still am.

I regard this as a very satisfactory training session. Up the hill coming home was really tough, and I had to remind myself that a trained rubberist cold not only endure but enjoy it.

Now I shall lie down as I am on a rubber sheet, and see if I can sleep. But I have my limits, and one of them is that the wetsuit has no crotch opening for urination. I shall not I fear like Sealed last the night. I shall try adding a gasmask - a hooded one, really tight.

Going to the pub has the plus of showing off. I was able to explainto a couple of girls that I had put on an extra suit thinking it would be cold, but was enjoying the result all the same.

Being a rubberist and learning to be tough is splendid. I wish I had a partner to administer bondage and discipline, so I have to do my best on my own.

So you can imagine me at the keyboard using a stylus to hit the keys wearing gloves, sweating in my heavy, very tight hot gear - and enjoying it! A masochist and a rubberist.

I hope my readers feel the same about my evening. Now into my gasmask.

Blackie.

So you are Out - Big deal?

As I said in a comment on my previous post, I have been suffering from a nasty cold. Being unwell is definitely vanilla. I did manage though a day out in rubber on Monday and an evening at the pub after. So I hope after Christmas - a social and vanilla experience - to get into my rubber regularly and to tackle chlorination, and then sleeping in my sleep sack.

I have been thinking about my experiences in the past few months. I said I was going to try going round in SBR to get people accustomed to it and working up to more. Well, this has worked quite well. Locally I go round in SBR mack, boots, SBR cap, shiny black plastic gloves over other gear, including visible heavy trousers.

To the pub I wear my open-faced hood, and my mack with double-buckled wide belt outside, and als a separate collar. Sometimes I takes off my SBR to show my heavy jacket and trousers underneath - there is a catsuit and lighter jacket and trousers under that. People just say Hi.

For many years I enjoyed wearing rubber in public but was terrified of anyone I knew seeing me. Now it doesn't matter. A worry I have had for years about being found out has disappeared. I am just mildly ecccntric in black 'leather' as people call it and just a local character. A woman acquaintance met me when I was in vanilla and queried why not my usual gear. A few days later in gear I met her again and she said, "Ah, there's the Blackie we know".

Of curse I have a vanilla life which is important. Like Dark, rubber is not everything in my life, especially as the sex drive is not what it was. With some friends and on some occasions I dress conventionally, indeed formally. Oddly my vanila habits are very conventional generally.

But I now feel much more at ease with myself and can accept my fetish. Perhaps as result my enthusiasm may dwindle over time. My physical stamina is not what it was - as I have recorded, some of my hot summer days in rubber left me exhaused for a day or two.

My situation without family or job responsibilities is favourable for this. A partner is as I know quite another matter. It does seem though we underrate the acceptability of latex wear to the public, who know nothing whatever about the existence of the fetish or the scene. But then Ilive in a quiet part of the country.

All very surprising. But then life is surprising.

Blackie.

It is time I posted another image. Here is one of me in clubbing gear. There is of course a complete suit and then a thin jacket and trousers under the heavy jacket and trousers visible.

I did not sleep in rubber last night. I had been wearing my sheather underpants and thin suit for 36 hours and both they and I needed a wash. During the day yesterday I wore my thin suit, thin trousers and jacket, and thick jacket under my SBR mack, with no hood, just SBR cap as described before, with a pair of short heavy gloves. I was out and about like that.

In the evening I stripped off the two jackets and trousers and put on a heavy weight suit with hood, then replaced two pairs of trousers and the thick jacket, plus a stretch hood. My long thin glove sleeves were under my jacket. Finally I had my long heavy gloves and shades. This is the usual sort of gear I wear to walk half a mile to the pub and back. They were very busy last night, with music and I could not hear anything, so I did not stay long. The two hoods make it difficultto hear at the best of times. I need an intercom system - suggestions welcomed.

Then I had difficulty in stripping off the thick suit shoulders. It is tight fitting and getting it off the shoulders is notmally tricky, but when it was sticking to the thin suit very difficult. So I was pretty tired when I was finally naked. and able to have a wash.

Today I shall be back in my thin suit, two jackets and two trousers, which I find comfortable. I could do with a thin suit with attached open-faced hood. If I want a hood today I should find pulling on a stretch hood over the hair difficult.

AsI have said I am now pretty well out. I wear the hood to the pub but otherwise not locally, though I do so where Ido not meet so many people I know. Next week I shall be away in vanilla, and no doubt will be rubbery on return.

As I have said before, if I can chlorinate my sleep sack so that I can get in more easily, I shall try using it more, wearing either a suit or naked. There is a temptation to zip it up nearly completely over my head leaving only a small breathing aperture, but this is too dangerous. I am not used to it, and so lose sleep.

Sealed has explained his technique for endurance training is to undertake regularly a routine and to increase the time and severity from mild to more severe. Vanilla life tends to interfere with this for me.

The summer is much more fun - I have the challenge of enduring heat when out and geared, and I attract agreeably more attention. I am careful though not to expose myself to possible unpleasantness or even violence, as I have explained before. However even at present I enjoy my showing off, which sounds a nicer term than exhibitionism. My combination of rubberfetishism, masochism and exhibitionism is I suppose fairly common. I am able to enjoy it, though many, most no doubt, for vanilla reasons cannot.

Your comments as always welcome.

Progess in coming out

I was away for nearly three weeks without rubber, so am now back in an intensely rubber phase, wearing gear all day and some at night too. I have gradually accustomed friends and relations to seeing me in varying amounts of rubber. They have accepted what they see as an eccentricity, and I have found that I can walk into shops and cafes etc. wear my gear around without any anxiety, though I do avoid drunks and in contrast secluded places, where any solitary man gives rise to suspicion anyway.Few people realise it is a fetish, and they are no problem, but good to meet.

The remarkable thing is that my usual gear of SBR mack fastened up to neck, SBR cap (from Westhervain - the peak unfortunately points down, looking to much like the SS, though I think it looks more like the Brigade of Guards), boots over latex trousers, and heavy rubber gloves attracts little or no attention in winter, though it gets gratifying curiosity in the hot weather as I have written before.

I wear layers of black latex under, and in suitable company like the local pub, where they have quite accepted me, will now take off my mack to show my heavy catsuit, or my heavy jacket and trousers, with wide latex belt.

But I have no problems of work or family, living alone and working only part-time, remotely.

For my vanilla life I dress conventionally, very conventionally. and even produced a dark overcoat and bowler hat for Remembrance Sunday. I did not buy the bowler - it was presented to a friend on retirement, and he gave it to me saying that I was more likely to wear it. So I do not flout convention, but wear rubber only where it is acceptable. Clubs of course get the full enclosure treatment.

I do not have a web site. The web is another matter. People not in the scene with different motivations might intrude if they could recognise or trace one. That might be disagreeable. There is still a common general belief that fetishism and BDSM is connected with disagreeable and criminal actions which we rubberists would have no more to do with than our friends and relations. Those public-spirited people who maintain free fetish galleries are splendid, but I have not the same resources or indeed the same pictures.

Rubber fetishism remains a mystery. For people in whose childhood rubber wear was everyday, a trauma leading to fetishism is understandable. Nowadays people discover when they are older a fascination with rubber and often leather that seems to be the satisfaction of some special qualities - perhaps the smooth feel, or being covered in a tight and clinging garment. Men seem to require this, while women often prefer the fashion aspect with perhaps bondage aspects. There seem sadly few women rubberists who have not been motivated by their partners and acquired different amounts of toleration or enthusiasm.

I find I get great great and continued pleasure in wearing my rubber and even more in showing off - that is a separate and unusual yen. Rubber is not necessarily a direct sexual stimulant, though it gives me a pleasant continued feeling of arousal swhich sheathed underpants encourage.

Your comments are as always welcome. Am I very unwise, playing with fire? I have learnt not to push physical endurance, especially of heat, too far, tempting as it is when already on a sweating high. What about the social aspects?

Rubberist Blackie - learning to be tough in rubber, and enjoying it !

Random rubber thoughts.

I said some time ago that I would describe how I felt when fully rubbered up, wearing about 25 lbs. of black latex gear. I described in some detail how I put on all this gear with careful attention to detail - a strip of black adhesive taspe to cover a zip slider or the tail of a belt where necessary.

I feel tightly constrained all over, a feeling that diminishes as the rubber warms and adjusts its position. I become accustomed to the firm and exciting grasp of rubber. When I walk I hear the rubber rustle - not a good word, but you will know what I mean. My mack dlaps agreeably. I feel a different person, ready to face the world as a rubberist. I only wish I could wear my full-face hood, goggled and with mouuth zip closed, as I do in clubs, but that remains unacceptable in public.

If the sun is shining, the heat oenetrates through rubber. Walking in hot weather soon becomes an effort, and I calculate carefully whether I can endure while I walk to somewhere to sit.

Now I am quite used to going around like this in public, and regularly visit the local pub. Indeed when I found myself there in vanilla gear recently it occasioned quite a lot of comment. I remain astonished at how little notice people take of me. I do not now I have had some experience think people in public really notice anything all that odd. Perhaps though they are consciously not looking. Some people do look of course, and young people do not disguise theeir interest, and often amusement. I am used to cars driven by young men tooting as they pass - I wave in return. I think I disarm comment by cheerful acceptance and joining in the amusement.

Rubber enthusiasm I find comes in waves. I am in the middle of an intensely rubbery period. If I really exhaust myself, then I go vanilla for some days or week. Or perhaps my vanilla life takes over and I have no rubber opportunities. Then the rubber appeal grows again.

My own particular combination of rubber fetishism, masochism and showing off (the word exhibitionism is unfortunate, since it is usually applied to people who seek to upset and embarrass strangers, which I very carefully avoid) seems very unusual. I am of course in the position of having no immediate family or work to hamper my enthusiasms, but I still seem very unusual.

A few people, mstly but not all men, whom I have met, know about the rubber scene, and have more or less interest. I have met two enthusiasts. They were in vanilla. I have not established any ongoing contact. I should of course, like so many male rubberists, like to meet a woman who was either into rubber or willing to try it. For a couple to go around in public rubbered up would be quite something.

That is enough random reflection. I will write again with more reflections!

Blackie.

Life as a Rubberist.

I have not had anything exceptional to report recently. I have been out and about in my usual gear, with more or fewer rubber layers on as opportunity dictated. There has been some nice warm weather and I have been able to sweat a good deal, which has been good and stimulating training, very enjoyable too.

I am hoping to get my sleepsack chlorinated so that i can get in and out of it more easily, and then to start sleeping training. It is large enough for me to zip up the opening so that I am completely enclosed - there are zips inside as well as out - but sleeping needs air. A small opening is not safe, and having the head out misses a lot of the point. Sleeping in a gasmask has the problem of apnoea: one does not breathe deeply enough and suddently wakes to gulp in a big breath. There are devices to give a positive air pressure in a breathing tube, which is complicated. So that is all experiments to come.

I did say that I would describe what it was like to wear multi-layer heavy-weight rubber. So let me start by telling you how I get geared up in my full outfit. It is all black latex, so I shall not repeat that all the time. I use warm water with some soap to lubricate the gear as I put iton.

First there are pants, with a sheath and a tube for urination. Carefully tensioned bands stop this from sliding off. Then there is a heavyweight suit with feet and hood, but no gloves. The front zip comes right up to the chin. I cover the sop slider carefully with strips of black adhesive tape. A stretch open-faced hood follows, fitting neatly round the face. The arms of shades slide between the two hoods, leaving nothing but nose and mouth visible, the minimum which is socially acceptable. A full-face hood which I wear clubbing would not I am sorry to say do in public.

Next is a pair of long thin gloves. These are then sealed by the arms of another heavyweight suit, without feet or hood. Socks seal the feet. A wide two-buckled bondage belt secures the waist. That is the basic outfit. At first it feels very restrictive, but before long as the rubber warms and the body sweats it all adjusts to give a feeling in every part of being held firmly in tight rubber.

Next I add rubber boots. I have removed with some difficulty the linings from these. These need some talcum to get on - water and soap leads to squelching. Then my SBR mack, fastened right up, with the collar up. The collar is secured by a latex buckled collar on top. Finally a pair of long heavy gauntlets.

In this gear i can walk a long way unless it is a hot day, when a few hundred yards needs a rest. On a sunny day I can feel the sun striking through all the rubber, which is a good sensation.

I am ready to go into pubs and enjoy the attention and curiosity I get. As I have said, teenagers tend to laugh and take the mickey, but also to be curious, especially pairs of girls. Older people do not see me, or affect not to. People want to photograph me, which I enjoy.

I can wear this gear all day, have slept in it the following night, and worn it most of the next day, as I have reported in earlier posts. Thatleaves me understandably exhausted.

So there I am, a rubberist tough enough to wear rubber and tougher still to enjoy it!

Blackie.

The toughest training yet !

Today has been hot and sunny, so I put on light rubber - underpants, thin trousers, socks, heavy trousers, and a shirt up to the neck. I added a wide tight belt and my boots, then of course my SBR mack and cap. Finally I put on my shiny plastic gloves.

This is quite comfortable gear for long period wear. I went first of all to a local coffee morning, where I had the usual comments, !Aren'y you hot in that gear?" I am regarded as mildly eccentric, but nobody sees more than that. They of course did not se my rubber under my mack except my trousers which show a few inches, more if I cross my legs so that the mack falls open.

It was getting hot in the car and I went on to a pub in the country where I have been before. By the time I arrived there I was really dripping - fortunately I had taken a towel to dry my face. I had a long discussion about rubber wearing with a well-informed man and showed what I had under my mack. They had up a picture of me I had sent after as previous visit, so I was clearly acceptable and interesting.

In the course of the afternoon I sat with a cup of coffee outside a cafe in a town in the full hot sun. I have never been so hot, but I stuck it out to a few comments from passers by. After walking around and various other visits I was really at maximum endurance. But I was still enjoying myself - I reckon that being tough enough to sweat in rubber gear is one thing, being able to do it for long periods is something else altogether that needs training, abd enjoying subject oneself to endurance training in public is yet another.

I have decided though I am not entitled to call myself a trained rubberist yet. That needs 24 hours in full gear with full-face mask and mouth zip closed, at a temperature of 25C (77F) with ten minute exercise sessions every hour. Plenty of water to drink would be essential. Ideally a female trainer would supervise and add discipline as appropriate.

A formal test of that kind is an objective I have set myself. Probably twelve hours first, and work up. The rowing machine for the exercise - not violent but hard work.

I also had a testing time at the beginning of the month for another club night. I geared up at home about midday, drove to my accommodation and had a rest. I went out to a pub for a snack and was approached and questioned by an interested and clearly tough business woman. She was not into rubber, but spent some time dissecting my personality. An interesting and stimulating conversation - I enjoy discussing my fetish.

I wore my full-face hood at the club from 9.30 to 1, and at midnight put on my mack for extra heat. I was disciplined I am glad to say, and I could have taken more. I went back to my accommodation and slept in my full gear with open-faced hood, and drove home arriving about midday after 24 hours in full gear. Again I was tired and did not feel like rubbering up for several days.

I think I am getting definitely tougher. Certainly I am much more confident in public, whether I am wearing just my boot, mack, gloves and cap locaslly over vanilla black sweatchirt and chinos, or in full gear (except of course for the full-face hood) elsewhere. I do not wear a hood locally except to the local where my habits are cheerfully accepted.

Physical endurance is definitely improving. Walking in hot rubber is I am sure good general exercise. I suppose for an obese person it is like that all the time, carrying an extra weight and getting hot very easily. the difference is that rubber does not keep you warm in winter. I plan to acquire a wetsuit for winter heat insulation on land. And I am having great fun, but to the detriment of my chores.

If I can chlorinate my sleep sack which at the moment is very difficult to get into and move inside, I shall sleep in it more, perhaps with gear or perhaps raw. There is a temptation to get right inside and leave just a section of the zip (which has inside pulls as well as outside) open for air, but I think that is dangerous. I shall have to have my head out wearing a hood, open-faced. A gasmask with air tube supplied by a pump would be a possibility but the dangers of oxygen shortage building up are considerable. Being a tough rubberist is one thing and being stupidly reckless is another. There is a danger always of being hyped up so much as to lose judgement.

So that is my story so far.

This blog is very much an account of my personal experiences - not much psychology or philosophy. I hope you enjoy it all the same.

A comment asked what it was like being in full rubber, and i hope to answer that one in a new instalment.

It is time I stripped off my light rubber and got into my twin heavy layers with hoods, thin gloves secured between the layers, and long heavy gauntlets. 3/4 mile walk to the local will then do me good.

Rubberist Blackie.

Hot work

I posted quite a long post the other day, and although the date appears as an update in my details, the actual text has not appeared. So here it is again, rather briefer. Here is also a picture of my enjoying summer weather. I had on my two heavy latex suits under the SBR of course. That is my clubbing gear as well, less the SBR mack, until I feel I want extra heat endurance discipline after midnight. In a hot club atmosphere that really does take some coping with.

At the beginning of the month during the fine hot sunny weather I went to a club session in the West of England. I geared up, with open-faced hood and dark shades. and drove some 150K, stopping at a couple of cafes, at one of which I attracted a good deal of attention and some photos, which is great fun.

There is a rubber-friendly place I know to stay, so I called in and then went to a small town for drink and food. I wandered round, and found a bar, where again I attracted attention and was interrogated and photgraphed, all quite sympathetically. My audience were being educated. A group of teenagers watched me go in and hung around so I had to go out and show off to them, answering their questions. Of course I do not say a lot to them or speak more than briefly.

I was going back to my car when a young man invited me to come and meet his mates in another more more lively pub I had not seen, and that was very good fun.

That night I did however strip off -it had been a long hot day, but I was back in full rubber for a light breakfast. I then drove to Plymouth and found Westward Bound the fetish shop and had a look at the fetish gear there. I found myself walking much further in the heat than I had bargained for, and had refuge in a cafe with a cup of iced coffee. No one turned a hair there about me. In towns that is quite usual.

Then back to rest and go to the club where I was able to watch the fun, though by then not very active myself - indeed I was away by 12.30 a.m.

The next day however I was again fully rubbered for breakfast, and drove home by a lengthy route, stopping to walk in towns and visit a couple of rather dull pubs. The day seemed hotter than ever, and when I reached home late in the day I was frankly exhausted. I gradually stripped off and just left my gear in a heap. It was a week before I could tackle getting geared up again - the effect was mostly not physical but a feeling that I had really done everything. I had not of course, and I hope to visit more clubs for longer and receive training and discipline.

I called myself a trainee rubberist for a long time, but not very long ago I decided I was a rubberist. Am I now, I wonder, entitled to call myself a trained rubberist? The last stage, the black belt as it were, I rate as being a tough rubberist, and I do not aspire to that.

I think though to be a trained rubberist one should do a test ordeal - say 24 hours continuously in a temperature of 25C (80F)in full gear with full-face hood and goggles, with exercise sessions for ten minutes every hour. One would have to keep a check on one's body temperature in such tests - 101 measured in the mouth is to my mind enough. The core of the body is hotter. Enough to drink is also essential.

What would be a suitable qualifying ordeal to be rated a tough rubberist? Wearing a gasmask as well for the 24 hours? Or longer?

Really taking it !

I have not written for some time I see, so here is an update.

At the beginning of the month in the hot weather I gave myself three days really tough heat endurance training in rubber in public. I drove to a rubber-friendly B&B in the West Country, stopping to walk round various places and drink coffee, all in the hot sun. I was wearing two heavy latex suits under my SBR mack, boots of course, two layers of open-faced hood, thin long gloves and heavy gloves.

I did strip off at night but was fully rubbered for breakfast after which I drove a long way to a fetish shop, and walked tround the town in the heat - I found I had to walk further than I bargained for. As a result when I went a Club that evening and put on my full-face hood with zipped mouth closed and goggles I was really too tired to enjoy it and left at 12.30.

Again I stripped off to sleep but was fully rubbered - putting on all that gear takes 45 minutes - by breakfast time for another hot rubbered day.

People took amazingly little notice of me, except as I have reported before, teenagers. In one place in the evening I had a whole group of them peering in a bar into which I had gone. So I went out to be phtographed and interrogated - great fun. In the pub the young men of course wanted to know about me and more photos were taken. I even had to open my mack to show my latex underneath.

For a rubber fetishist, masochist and exhibitionist, that was really good. All I missed was some discipline in the club but I did not make the effort to get it.

Subsequently I had however some very quiet vanilla days, but am now back in form. I am wearing rubber as I write, inclding my heavy four-buckled bondage belt - good training !

What do you all think about it all?

A splendid day

It has been a very hot and sunny day. I was driving 150 miles, and wearing modest rubber gear - SBR mack, cap, boots and shiny black plastic gloves obver a black sweatshirt and black chinos. It was really hot.

At one point I parked, walked off the road on to a hillside and lay in the full sun for ten minutes on my back and then on my front. This was excellent endurance training. Later I stopped at a roadside trailer and drank tea, to the interest of the proprietor. I stood in the full sun, and that really tested me.

I must admit though that after that when driving I found that if I put my arm out of the windowe a cool draft blew up my sleeve. Hot, really hot, air blew out of my collar.

This evenng I geared up properly - catsuit with hood, trousers, back-zip jacket, exxtra hood, belt and then SBR mack. My long thin gloves are sealed between the sleeves of the suit and the jacket, with heavy long gloves as well. The effect is really tight overall, and heavy too. It feels really good, and is a challenge on a warm evening. I walked to the local pub where I am well-known, and enjoyed sweating and drinking beer allevening. I am still inn my gear at 1 am, having been looking at the rubberist.net postings. I shall now stretch out on a latex sheet, pull another over me, and sleep fully geared and booted. I shall not though put on my full-face hood. It is tempting though,as is turning up the heating ! But I must not overdo it - that is dangerous

So rubber dreams from Rubberist Blackie, learning to be tough - and enjoying it

Hot weather is great!

The beauty of hot weather for a keen exhibitionist rubberist is that as well as being a challenge to endure going round in the sun in overall black rubber, you attract more interest than usual. It is though surprising how little that is, except for young people as I have described before. I have indeed been much photographed, wearing my shades, so not too recogniseable, by the young with camera phones.

I have been seeing from time to time living statues, usually covered in silver paint, and standing, sometimes sitting, to attract intererest and contributions. How well would a rubber robot do - catsuited, full-face hooded and dark goggled, gloved and booted and belted? The robot would move jerkily from time to time, otherwise stand still. I see difficulties in finding a pitch and arriving fully geared to start. An assistant to drop one off nearby seems essential. I wonder how long I could keep it up, and how much interest there would be. It is an attractive fantasy. What would be a suitable charity to which to pass the takings? Or would be laberlled, "For amusement only"?

I have been surprised in going around to meet or be contacted by only one rubberist who was in vanilla or ordinary clothes and with whom I had an interesting talk. I suppose rubberists are really rather rare. And women in rubber in public very rare birds indeed, though a SBR mack would be a sure-fire way of making some men friends. One sees biker girls, riding solo, and they look very good and know it.

To have one's blog recognised as a rubber blog in the list on the IAR rubberist.net site, which I recommend to those who do not know it, the blog has to be frequently updated, and both interesting and provocative of discussion. I do not I fear qualify. These are just my thoughts, and some accounts of my experiences.

If you can write a comment, then I might in reply be more interesting - an easy way for you to have your say anonymously.

When I find out how to do it, I shall try to include some pictures. The same applies to links to other rubber blogs.

Till then, I remain, Rubberist Blackie.

Summer is icumen in

I am pressing on what I call to friends and others my new positive image as we move into summer. As I said in a previous blog local people accept that I have developed this but harmless an indeed amusing habit of wearing a big black SBR mack dne up to the neck and tightly belted - I am happily slim - with polished black wellies, shiny plastic gloves and an SBR cap. Now that there are sunny days they enquire if I am too hot, and I reply, "Not particularly, and it doesn't worry me". Indeed I am quite used to sweating in my black chinos and sweatshirt which I have been wearing out and about all day today.

On more special occasions and usually when I go to the local pub in the evening I spend quite some time getting into my full, or nearly full, gear. I have a thick black latex - everything must be black latex - suit with feet and open-faced hood zipped right up to chin. First though I put on my pants with sheath and tube attached, which means I can reieve myself by opening my lower zips. The trick is to put a bandround the sheath tight enoughto stop it slipping off, but not too tight stop relief.

After my first suit I put on slacks and socks, then my shiny black boots. Then stretch open face hood covering the suit chin zip. The tricky part starts here. I put on my long thin gloves and then my rear zip jaket so that the sleeves are over the gloves and seal them. A cord lets me fasten the rear zip, a tricky move. All the gear is tight so to get it on I wet where it will over with some soap so that it slides. This avoids talcum and dripping white drops of 'dreaded white stuff' as inevitably happens. Clammy to start with, heat and sweat rapidly take over.

A two-buckled tight wide latex belt and a buckled collar complete the preliminaries. Finally my SBR mack, cap and heavy long gloves see me ready for the street or walk to pub.

Clubbing gear is without the SBR (until I need extra heat endurance as the night grows more stimulating) but adds a full-face hood over dark goggles with back zip and strap plus with the stretch hood over. That is my ultimate latex experience.

When I get home I lie flat outdoors in the cool to unwind, but have not really managed to sleep even on a bed fully geared.

As I tell people, "You have to be tough to wear this gear at all, very tough to wear it all day, and very kinky to enjoy it." Of course, the hotter the surroundings or day the more I can impress with my toughness and readiness to endure. I am careful however not to get too hot - that is dangerous. Splashing with cold wter which rapidly evaporates is an effective cooler.

So that is practice, and when I write you can imgine me, as at this moment, in either everyday mack and boots or fully geared, which I shall shortly be.

Blackie.

Contacting friends

This is rather off my normal line. Some good friends originally readers have been trying to contact me, but have the wrong phone number. The number does not end in 602, but in 601. So I hope they read this blog. Email to them seems to have problems.

I have not written much recently. My rubber excursions have been nearly all to the local pub, where my appearance in SBR soon became accepted, and I was able to work up to wearing my catsuit with open-faced hood under my SBR mack, also my two pairs of gloves - the thin ones and the heavy ones. Plus my boots of course, and a big latex belt on my catsuit. This outfit creates interest, and some people get the message about my fetishism, but most do not and think me just eccentric, but not too eccentric to have a glass of beer with.

I am studying how to put on links to other rubber blogs, and also to include photos, so keep looking here!

Blackie.

How am I doing?

I am now a regular local figure in big black SBR mack and black boots, and the people who know have accepted it just as an eccentricity So as the weather gets warmer I shall go on which will be very enjoyable. I wear my SBR peaked cap usually, but on occasion just a vanilla black baseball cap.

The local pub crowd are quite used to me now and welcoming. On occasion I put on full gear under my mack including open-faced hood., plus shades. In the pub it causes no surprise now, but I am not otherwise hooded usually locally when friends are about. The full gear is good to wear, but the dictates of ordinaryy lifer estrict my indulgence. My full gear still gets comments from young people and blasts from the horns of beat-up cars. I can now handle contacts when fully rubbered quite withut any embarrassment.

So, is it becomng boring routine to climb into my mack and boots? No - it adds interest and excitement to eberyday life. Of course I do not to go out to work and have no one about the house to consider. The lesson for latex lovers more generally is that in everyday life mild eccentricity of dress mans nothing, certainly nothing sexual. Of course discretion in possible trouble spots especially in the evening is needed.

Complete enclosure with a full face hood with zipped up mouth, nose holes, eye apertures surrounding darlk goggles is the ideal, but that is only for home, rubber friends and clubs. In clubs any gear goes unnoticed as is some pretty bizarre SM behaviour.

So for those who look occasionaqly at thi blog, this will tell you I am still arond. Do leave a comment for other readers.I have had some very interesting emails I am glad to say, and of course answer them all. Sometimes my emails fail - I suspect rubberist.org either fails to offer enough security for some ISPs or banned words are found.

I shall add some links to other rubber blogs when I master the technique, and perhaps provide some pictures too. As they say, watch this space,

More experience

I posted the following account as a comment to my previous post, but on thinking about it decided that it was worth a few more general thoughts. It was however a place where they might have trouble on a Saturday, so perhaps understandable if disagreeable.

Elsewhere earlier on a sunny afternoon I had trudged along a shingle beach in my full outdoor gear - suit, trousers, jacket, big belt, mack with collar strapped right up, two pairs of gloves, open-face hood and shades.

This was good endurance training. It attracted no attention, and a pub served me a welcome beer without comment. I had some good natured comment elsewhere - I enjoyed that and was quite relaxed about it. I reply the same way, and explain if interested.

In fact it is interesting that it is usually the same- I pass a couple of youths or young men, or a party of several perhaps with girls, or a couple of girls together and they comment loudly as I pass, or across the road. I stop , wave, and say 'Hi'. They say something or look and I stop or go across and say 'How do you like my gear?' They then ask why I wear it, or ask where my bike is -I don't have one alas. After laughing or chat I break off and move on. Talking to girls is a special pleasure. I am anxious not to be a nuisance, and am conscious I am much older than they are. Am I a nuisance and is anyone likely to object? Police take no notice of me.

1:50 PM

      Post a Comment

  <<>

About Me

Name:Blackie

Location:South of England

I am a rubber fetishists and masochist, enjoying total enclosure in many-layer heavy, hot, black latex. The trouble is that people in general do not seem to notice it at all. Are they pretending or have I to wait for summer to look more out of the ordinary? However enough people, especially young adults, do pay attention - I have ben photographed several times, once by a girl who asked my permission and was very interested in what I said about habitually wearing rubber whatever the weather. I am moving on to wearing my open-faced hood and catsuited with latex showing under my SBR.

It is interesting that I have become quite accustomed to going around in shops and pubs and no longer have to brace myself when goung in. When I take off a heavy glove to pay revealing a thin glove underneath I do it as a matter of course. Wearing the rubber too is still pleasant but famiiliar - I strap up tightly my belt and collar just as I might tie my shoelaces.

Not a very exciting story, but I am quite enjoying myself. And perhaps making things easier for other rubberists.

I have had by the way an interesting email from 'hoo', but find my replies from traineelatex@rubberist.org rejected by their server for some reason. Could they perhaps send a privcate message via the IAR forum, or add a comment here? I could give them a mobile number. I will try sending from a different server when I can find one.

Blackie.

Coming a little way out of the closet

I said earlier I was going to try the effect of going around locally in SBR mack and boots, and I have started doing it. The variable spring weather has been quite suitable for this, making my gear more appropriate.

I started off by going to a local meeting where I knew a lot of the people. Before the meeting began I had quite a few comments such as 'Where's the Hsarley-Davidson?". I asked various people how they liked my gear, explaining it was my new positive image, and they all seemed to think me merely eccentric. I sat there happily all evening with my mack fastened right up. So I am becoming a familiar figure in the streets round here. When the weather gets warmer, comments will get no doubt more puzzled. I said to one elderly and forthright woman acquaintance when I met her, 'I have taken to wearing this mack and boots. I think it is rather dashing'. She answered somewhat disapprovingly, 'Yes, but not quite the thing on a fine and sunny morning!'

Away from home I add gloves and SBR cap, and this makes a defintiely more striking outfit, provoking lots of comment from teeneagers, who think it cool. Older men in pubs look enquiringly at me, and I just explain I like wearing rubber, and this seems an acceptable explanation. Nobody seems to see or at least show they see any sexual connotation. I wear a latex jacket and trousers underneath but people do not know that unless I actually explain it. The trousers show slightly but are not at all obvious.

As the weather gets warmer I shall see how it all develops. It is certainly enjoyable, and I have got quite used to the experience. I do not push it on every occasion locally however, so hope my social place will not be upset. As I wrote earlier I have lots of friends and contacts and would not like to lose these.

So it is a rather dull story for readers so far. It may encourage some other people. I am fortunate to live alone and have no family to consider, nor a job, so it is all easier for me. Older people are allowed to be eccentric anyway.

But I wish I could get my SBR latex lined.

Blackie.

In the closet

My rubber has always been concealed from neighbours, friends, business associates, and relatives. This is a paradox considering how much I like showing off in rubber as I have written before.

I have indeed a busy and full vanilla life although I live on my own and have no one close to me to be hurt by or object to my conduct. Yet I do not want to upset a network of relationships important to me. I wonder what their reaction would be if they saw me in my outdoor gear of black SBR mack over belted catsuits with open-faced hood, boots and big gloves? Amazement no doubt. How would affect they way they treated me afterwards in vanilla gear? A great deal I am sure.

Like many things, I suspect seeing people in rubber is something to get used to. In any town the local harmless eccentrics are familiar and harmless. I have taken to wearing highly-polished rubber (not plastic) wellington boots with black chinos etc. when shopping etc. In Winter this has become the way people are used frequently to seeing me. Women undoubtedly find them intriguing and comment with approval on the polish. In summer it will look more odd, but not surprising.

Next, I shall try wearing a SBR mack on wet days with my boots, and that will again become familiar, and after a bit even on dry and sunny days provoke only the occasional word of surprise. What though will people say behind my back? How many of them will know enough to attribute any sexual significance to my habit? Or feel something without knowing why? They will not however I am sure regard me as dangerous.

That seems far enough for me to venture, though perhaps close friends may in time be allowed to know that I do enjoy my gear and might on occasion wear more. Ideally one does not want to be deceitful, and to have the constant danger of being caught out and surprising everybody instead of easing them into the idea gently about which I speculate.

To be able to answer the door fully rubbered (a shock though still for strangers unused to such habits), and to go out in full gear without fear of observation sounds attractive but I do not think it can be done witrh sacrificing one's social place, not status, but all the intimacies with old friends. Wider social occasions with both friends and strangers present have their dress code, even if not white tie and tails, and a participant must conform.

So you see I am restless in my closet.

Blackie.

Showing off!

When I write about wondering what people's reactions are top seeing me in black rubber gear in public, it is of course because I enjoy showing off in my gear, particularly if the weather is hot and sunny and my gear not only looks unnecessary and inappropriatebut also makes people wonder how I can stand wearing it under the hot sun.

The answer to that is that being practiced I can stand being stewed in hot overall rubber better than 999 out of a thousand, and what is more I can enjoy it. I can spend a hot day rubbered and feel quite normal. The feeling that I am able to discipline myself is my reward. I sometimes think that getting used to wearing gear continuously could become just a normal way of dress and not require any special effort of gratifying self-discipline. That would though take more training than I have been able to undertake.

The fact that people look at me and I receive many laughs and humorous comments is another plus. I laugh back and can exchange repartee. When people are curious and interested I am glad to explain my eccentricity to them.

What I do wonder is how far I am justified in bringing other people into my scene. If I felt I was annoying or worrying people I should have to think again. but as long I am merely a curiosity and an amusement that is OK by me. Comments on that much appreciated.

How do people react to seeing rubber gear in public?

This is a topic about which I have always wondered. When I wear full rubber in public, sbr mack over catsuits, boots, big gloves, mack collar fastened up and open-faced hood with shades it doesn't attract all that much of attention unless the day is fine and sunny when people do look more. Of course some are interested, some photograph me - I encourage this - girls giggle and young men take the mickey. I can take all this in good part. Sometimes I have found myself explaining why I am in rubber to interested people.

What I would like to know is how the great bulk of people who give me a passing look feel, insofar as they feel anything about me. Is a rubberist regarded as good or bad, attractive or ugly, safe or dangerous, pleasant or unpleasant, someone to be near or to keep away from, and so on? How do men and women differ, and what difference does their age make? It needs a sociological enquiry.

I f people knew a friend or relative was into rubber enclosure in private or public how far would they feel the relationship changed? I feel there is much in familiarity answering all, these questions. If a rubberist lived next door and was regularly seen about, he would cease to appear remarkable at all. Is this true? There do not seem to be many outdoor rubberists, excluding those who seek secluded places.

But of course we can never see ourselves as others see us. Which is as has been often remarked a pity.
